Privacy Policy for W24 Chrome Tools

In short: these extensions do not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. They only read the page you choose, when you click them, and everything happens inside your browser. The one thing you can send onward is the text you pick in Page-to-Prompt, and only when you paste it or open an AI chat yourself.

What we collect

Nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no servers. We never receive the pages you check, your results or your browsing history.

W24 Site Check-up

When you click Run check-up, it reads the page in the current tab: title, meta tags, headings, links, images, structured data and page performance timings.
From that page it requests the same site's /robots.txt, /sitemap.xml and up to 30 of the site's own links, without cookies, to check they exist and are not broken.
Reports (up to 20) and your report settings (name, website, phone, email and offer line) are stored in your browser using Chrome's local extension storage. Removing the extension deletes them.

W24 SEO Inspector

When you open it, it reads the current page's title, meta tags, headings, links, images and structured data and shows them in the popup.
Nothing is stored. The data is discarded when the popup closes.
Social previews load the page's own share image. The Rich Results Test link opens Google's site only if you click it.

W24 Design Grabber

When you click Grab design, it reads the computed styles of visible elements on the current page, its :root CSS variables, logo images and favicons.
Your last 10 grabs are stored in Chrome's local extension storage. Logo and icon images are loaded from the website they came from when you view a grab.

W24 Page-to-Prompt

When you open it, or use its right-click menu, it reads the text of the page, selection or tabs you choose, including text inside embedded frames if you switch that on. Reading other tabs needs permission you grant once, and you can revoke it.
The text is processed in your browser to build the preview, the token estimate and the file you can save. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
If you click Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, the text is copied to your clipboard, that site opens in a new tab and the extension fills its message box. It never presses Send. What happens to the text after you send it is covered by that service's own privacy policy, not ours. Chrome asks once for access to each of those three sites, used only to fill the box, and you can revoke it from the popup.
Your settings and the prompts you save are stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device. Page text is not stored. Removing the extension deletes them.
Links have tracking parameters (such as utm_, fbclid and gclid) removed. Nothing is loaded from the network by the extension itself, and it uses no remote code.

These tools are for website owners and professionals and are not directed at children.

If data handling changes, we will update this page and the date above before releasing the new version.
